ABOUT KID’S GPS:
Aimed for 10-14 year old bowed-string players, each monthly unit will focus on “Exploring Creativity and Improvisation” through a variety of styles, techniques, games, practice routines, and assignments. Our world-class roster of uniquely skilled teachers will be featured throughout the Spring season. Your kid can enroll in the month(s) that work best for your family's scheduling:

Guided Practice Sessions are LIVE, via Zoom. Each session features 60 minutes of guided practicing, including time for Q&A with the teacher.

Trina Basu is an adventurous violinist, improviser and teacher, drawing from Western and Indian classical, jazz and creative improvisation traditions.

Cellist and educator, Melissa Brun, fuses classical technique with non-classical styles.

Taylor Morris enjoys blurring the line between violin and fiddle as Director of Gilbert Town Fiddlers. Taylor obtained a master's in education from Harvard University.

Lauren Rioux is enthusiastically sought out for her teaching expertise, leading classes and workshops across the globe.
